For the program of the Republic of Indonesia - Visit Lombok Sumbawa 2012 - has been created a beautiful video. It will feel like going on a holiday in NTB, the province of Lombok and Sumbawa.

 

 

 

 

But there are only clichés are shown here? No, in these islands is the life actually so, as it is shown. Wedding ceremonies, stickfighting, buffalo racing, horse racing in which the jockeys are children, horse drawn carriages, Cidomos as they are called here, that´s  everyday life. The landscape offers more than what is seen, both over and under water. The next island east of Sumbawa is Komodo. That´s the island where the giant lizards, the Komodo Lizards are living.

 

This is the world of Lombok Audax. It may be that we have to stop due to a wedding ceremony, in order to let them pass. We will meet with hundreds of Cidomos. We will ride through the most beautiful bays of the island, we will pass  the most beautiful beaches, we will have the most interesting views over the sea.
